The EU Council announced, when the start bezviz for Ukraine
Ukrainians will be able to travel to EU countries without visas in June 2017.
This was stated in the Maltese chairmanship of the Council of the EU, writes UKRINFORM.
“The swift adoption by member countries of the visa liberalization for Ukraine means that it will enter into force in June,” – said in the Maltese chairmanship after today’s decision of the ambassadors of the countries members in the EU Council approval of the draft legislative resolution on visa liberalization for Ukraine.

This decision was made after successfully completed on February 28, tripartite negotiations, the results of which representatives of the EU Council, the European Parliament and the European Commission agreed to abolish visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens.
Further, according to procedure, the draft legislative resolution on visa liberalization for Ukraine must approve the European Parliament Committee on civil liberties, justice and home Affairs.
After that, the decision must be voted at the plenary session of the European Parliament and finally approved by the EU Council at the Ministerial level.
On 14 February the European Parliament adopted the mechanism of temporary suspension bezveza.
As previously reported, 2 February, the European Parliament voted for the introduction of a visa-free regime with Georgia. In turn, 22 February the ambassadors of the European Union approved the mechanism of suspension of the visa regime with Georgia.
Note the European Parliament’s Committee on civil liberties, justice and internal Affairs approved an agreement to provide the citizens of Georgia visa-free access to the Schengen area as early as 12 January.
