Deputies of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional Council supported the blockade of trade with ORDO
Ivano-Frankivsk regional Rada passed the request to support the blockade of trade with the occupiers.
About it reported in a press-regional Council service.
“On March 10, during the session of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional Council deputies adopted an appeal to the President of Ukraine, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada with the requirement as soon as possible to stop the trade and economic relations with the occupied territories in the East of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

“Faction DILL in favour of this treatment in support of combatants, who began the blockade. The main demand of the blockers is to release all the prisoners. Unfortunately, the power will remember. But panicky reports about the economic losses: 5% of foreign exchange earnings, GDP and the like. And not this war damages, economic losses? The government argues that we will have no coal, nothing will burn, nothing will bring on Burshtynsky TPP. Then why the Burshtyn thermal power plant almost 100% of electricity exports abroad? Ukrainians don’t use it. This is pure business. Tell me, please, what is this concept: the controlled enterprise in the uncontrolled territories? How to understand this? And not those controlled by Akhmetov’s mines contain weapons and “Buki” who kill our boys?” – said the Chairman of the faction of the dill in the regional Council Mykola Paliychuk.
Besides, in the document deputies demand to recognize the fact of occupation of territories of Donbass, to begin to implement programs of development of mines and production fisheries coal on the territory, to develop a national program for the implementation of alternative types of electricity and to take measures to diversify sources of coal supply in Ukraine.
Also, the Council called for the creation of the Temporary investigative Commission of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on investigation of the conditions of the legality of the trading with temporarily occupied territory.
Separately Paliychuk, referring to data of sociological research, said that 80% of the population of the Carpathian region support the participants of the blockade.

Earlier, an appeal to stop trade with ORDO were deputies of the Lviv, Poltava, Volyn and Ternopil regional councils.
Note, rail blockade in the Donbass continues for more than a month. Trains carrying coal from militant-controlled territories do not miss dobrobiti, as I consider it unacceptable to trade with the invaders. Their requirement is not only to stop the trade, but also to formally consolidate the territories controlled by the aggressor, the status of the occupied.
