Poroshenko awarded the liberators of the Slavic
President Petro Poroshenko noted the high state awards to servicemen who took part in the operation to liberate Slavyansk.

In particular, the order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky awarded five Ukrainian soldiers, the order “For courage” – 7 fighters and two were awarded the medal “For military service to Ukraine”.
Among the awarded the order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky chief of staff – first Deputy commander of the mechanized battalion 24th mechanized brigade captain Sergei Tretiak. 4 Jun 2014 in the course of taking control of Semyonovka, near Slavyansk, he skillfully directed the fighting vehicles of the platoon, which gave the opportunity to provide fire support Ukrainian soldiers and destroy the enemy.
