Searches at the main office “Ukrenergo” ended around 13:20, they lasted six hours, the correspondent of TSN.
The head of company Vsevolod Kovalchuk said that he and house searches has ended. Investigators confiscated his electronic media.
“No evidence of potentially criminal activity has not been found or seized. It was removed a few old pieces of equipment and old SIM cards. It’s an old SIM card that I had in the safe, which I do not use. And three laptops, which couldn’t even turn on. And old mobile phone” – said Kovalchuk.
According to Kovalchuk, according to the presented him the document, he is suspected of managing a “criminal gang”, which included the employees of “Ukrenergo” and the national Commission for settlement of energy.
Kovalchuk assures that such actions are caused by discontent with its activity, namely that it is to “break the scheme”, which worked for years.
