Onishchenko prepares German citizenship
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Onishchenko, who is hiding from law enforcement bodies of Ukraine, draws up the citizenship of Germany.

The head of the community hopes that soon the Ukrainian politician will have a German passport. Becken personally contributes Onishchenko in obtaining German citizenship, in particular, appealed to a higher court with a letter in which he emphasized the outstanding role that the Ukrainian multimillionaire plays for his community.
“I several times asked about the state of Affairs. As I was given to understand, the process is progressing well. I doubt that all will be able to do so quickly, however, all relevant information should be resolved positively,” – said the mayor. According to him, Onishchenko, who owns in the community a large estate with stables for training of sport horses in the summer have registered Herzlake residence. Given the long legal residence status in Germany and the absence in this country of criminal cases against him, he obviously meets the criteria for citizenship.
Ukrainian promised the mayor that in the future to invest in the organization to Herzlake international competitions in equestrian sport at the highest level. About the problems with the law, a new villager in Ukraine village head heard, however, “does not undertake to give this assessment”.
Onishchenko refused to communicate. His lawyers do not comment on intentions.
Recall Onishchenko fled from Ukraine last year, when he lifted the parliamentary immunity. National anti-corruption Bureau accused the Deputy of stealing natural gasproduced under the joint activities of its controlled companies, with PJSC “Ukrgasdobycha”. As a result of actions of the Deputy, stated in the NEB, the state suffered damage amounting to about three billion hryvnia. Onishchenko says that the prosecution is politically motivated – at the direction of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
In an interview with The Washington Times Alexander Onishchenko has declared intention to run for President at the next elections in 2019. According to him, he will be surprised, if after the promulgation of his decision to run against him do not bring new charges.
For a long time the location of the Deputy was unknown to the wider public.
