New price records: oil cost $ 65 per barrel

For the first time in two and a half years the price of oil on the world market exceeded $ 65 per barrel.

Oil prices began to rise after the publication of the information on the reduction of drilling rigs in the United States. According to the American oil and gas service company BHGE, in October, the number of drilling rigs in the U.S. fell nearly 1%, to 928. In annual terms, the number of installations decreased by 389 units, or 1.7 times.

Earlier in the Austrian capital Vienna, OPEC members agreed to extend restrictions on oil production until the end of next year. In this way they hope to stop the falling prices on the black fuel.
