Lawyer Yanukovych called the testimony of Yatsenyuk and Avakov, “a refutation of the evidence”
The testimony of interior Minister Arsen Avakov and former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk denies the charges deprived the title of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of treason.
This was stated by the lawyer Yanukovych Vitaliy Serdyuk writes “112 Ukraine”.
“Despite the fact that the witnesses were filed by the Prosecutor, during interrogation, it was found that the witnesses for the defence. They provided the necessary protection statement. These readings will be used as appropriate and acceptable evidence during the investigation of the violent seizure of power. This testimony completely refuted the position of the prosecution”, he said.
According to Serdyuk, according to the testimony Avakov and Yatsenyuk, they have not seen the statements of Yanukovych in which he asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to introduce troops into the territory of Ukraine.
“Refutation of the charges. It was confirmed that none of these witnesses did not see personally any statements, or signing or submitting the application, about which all speak, – a statement from March 1, 2014”, – concluded the lawyer.
Recall, December 11, in the Obolon district court of Kyiv on the case of treason Viktor Yanukovych gave evidence of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
According to Yatsenyuk, the Kharkiv agreements Yanukovych led to the annexation of Crimea by Russia.
