Russia captured two nuclear bases in the Crimea – Klimkin
In the occupied territories remained outside the control of the Ukrainian state has two nuclear storage and more than 1,200 radioactive sources.
This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin during a speech at the Ministerial meeting of the UN security Council on North Korea, reports espreso.tv.
“The illegal occupation of Crimea and Russian aggression in the Donbas region of Ukraine, which is still ongoing, left Sevastopol in research reactor low enriched uranium, two nuclear storage and more than 1,200 radioactive sources without proper control of the Ukrainian national regulator,” – said Klimkin.

According to him, the occupation of the territory of Ukraine a nuclear state led to the de facto expansion of the geographical area of nuclear weapons. Klimkin added that Russia and North Korea threaten international security.
Recall that Russia will stop developing military railway complex of new generation “Barguzin” – “nuclear train” that can carry six Intercontinental ballistic missiles.
The development of a “nuclear train” is not included in the new state armaments program for the years 2018-2027 due to lack of funding.
