New year holidays of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the Maldives was worth not less than 500 thousand dollars (more than UAH 14 million).
This is stated in the investigation of the program “Schemes” (a joint project of Radio liberty and the channel “NTU”).
Reporters learned that Poroshenko vacationing in the Maldives from 1 to 8 January. He was not alone with him were nine people: seven adults and two children.
For the flight from Kiev to the capital of Maldives – malé – Poroshenko and his companions rented a Falcon 7X aircraft with tail number TS-KMR, which belongs to the Turkish company Setair. In this company, told reporters that the flight from Kiev to male subject to stay on the Islands during the week will cost 154 thousand euros, or 119 thousand Euro, if the plane just deliver passengers to their destination and then take.
Citing reliable sources, “Schema” reported that Poroshenko and his companions to stay rented the island in the resort of Cheval Blanc. According to journalists, the rent of the island was worth 46 thousand dollars a day. Thus, the rate for six nights at a cost of 276 thousand dollars.

Also Poroshenko and his companions spent 37.5 thousand dollars on entertainment and food. The reporters found that the diving, water sports and boat at the resort Cheval Blanc for seven days cost $ 18 705. For Breakfast a total of 791 spent 10 dollar for lunch – 4 682 dollar dinners – 3 $ 165. Journalists “Schemes” argue that these additional costs were paid in cash.
It is noted that Petro Poroshenko was in the Maldives under the name Mr Petro Incognito (Ukraine). The journalists explain that this is a typical service for a resort of this level – provision of anonymity at the request of the guest.
