Confused about the characters: Klimkin wondered why the Arch of friendship of peoples is still not dismantled for scrap
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin doubted the viability of having the Arch of friendship of peoples in Kiev. As is known, this monument was erected in 1982 in honor of the “unification of Ukraine with Russia.”
Laying flowers to the monuments of Shevchenko and Hrushevskyi Unification Day, it occurred to me that we still have other characters like the Arch of friendship of peoples. Or are we confused about the characters, or, perhaps, for what remained of pioneers who would scrap dismantled?

Around the subject of recurrent disputes. One of the recent is the coloring of the monument in the colors of the rainbow on the eve of “Eurovision” in 2017. Then the “Right sector” saw these colors, the propaganda of sexual minorities. Staining was stopped.
