To solve the conflict in the Donbass, you need to work with Russia – Volker

Special envoy of the US state Department on Ukraine Kurt Volker believes that Russia is impossible to solve the conflict in the Donbass, so it is necessary to conduct a dialogue.

This opinion was expressed on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

“It plays a key role in this conflict. And if we want to solve it, you need to work with Russia. She must agree to end the conflict. Therefore the dialogue is very important,” said Walker.

In this regard, said the special representative of the United States, it is unlikely that someone will try to spoil to the Russian veto in the UN in the issue of introduction of peacekeepers to the Donbass.

“When it comes to the UN, of course, Russia has a veto. I don’t think someone will try to change that,” said Walker.
