They discussed the prospects of allocation by the European Union Fourth program of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, as well as the implementation of the initiative “Eastern partnership+”, said the press service of the head.
Juncker assured that the European Union is ready to strengthen the comprehensive support to Ukraine to 2018 on the path of reforms and implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. The two sides also discussed reforms in Ukraine.
“The Ukrainian President noted the importance of establishing an independent anti-corruption infrastructure, and in particular an independent anti-corruption court”, – stated in the message of press-service of the head of state.
The leaders agreed to start preparing the next one – twentieth of the summit Ukraine-EU.
There was also concern about the implementation of the project “Nord stream-2”, which Poroshenko called political.
