Finland wants to participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbass
Finland is ready to participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas.
This was stated by the President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, writes Yle.
According to him, the conflict in the Donbas is a serious problem in Europe. Like, if you have the opportunity to solve it, Finland should take part in it.

President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine is ready to discuss the stages of implementation of the UN peacekeeping mission and the list of countries that will participate.
Previously, their possible participation in the peacekeeping mission in the Donbass, said Germany, Austria and Belarus (as a representative of Russia).
Ukraine wants peacekeepers were throughout the occupied territory, and now uncontrolled border between Russia and Donbass. Russia also wants the peacekeepers were only on the line of contact.
Recall, the war in the Donbass, which began in the spring of 2014, over the past four years has claimed the lives of more than 10 thousand people.
