In the state statistics service explained why over a month, the average salary fell by one thousand. Infographics
In January 2018 the average salary of full-time employee amounted to UAH 7711. Is one thousand less than it was in December, when the figure was UAH 8777.
“Compared to December 2017 the average nominal wage decreased by 12.1%. Reduction of charges in January to the previous month occurs annually and is caused by the fact that in December charges are lump sum payments of compensation by results of work for the year for years of service, compensation for unused vacation and other”, – said in the State statistics service.
In November, the average salary was UAH 7479.
In the state statistics service found that in the last 12 months nominal salary in Ukraine increased by 28.4%. The real wage index in January 2018 compared to December 2017 was 86.6 per cent, compared to January 2017 – 112,3%.
Recall that the minimum wage from 1 January 2018 in Ukraine is UAH 3723.
