The company hopes that the new position of Germany will affect Ministers of other EU countries.
“Naftogaz of Ukraine” called the good news that German Chancellor Angela Merkel for the first time publicly acknowledged the existence of a political component in the project “Northern stream-2” and stated the need to maintain transit through Ukraine.
This is stated in the statement of “Naftogaz”, published on Tuesday, April 10.

The company hopes that the new position of Germany will affect Ministers of other EU countries and will help them to decide on the proposed amendments to the gas Directive adopted by the European Commission and the European Parliament.
“Nord stream-2″ no longer be called a purely commercial matter even his traditional supporters. He is rapidly losing the curls of the lamb, out of which emerges its true nature: a geopolitical weapon of the Kremlin against Europe,” the statement said.
