The situation in the East remains tense.

In the past days the situation in the area of operations of the combined forces remained difficult. On the line of collision and continued intense fighting, reports the press center of the OOS.

It is noted that the part of the opponent is recorded 73 fire, and 20 of them – from 122 mm artillery and mortars. During the night the current day opponent 6 times used heavy weapons. The Ukrainian military were active in the defense and gave an adequate response to the enemy.

In the Luhansk region, in the areas of settlements Crimean, Novozvanivka, Trinity, the enemy tried to push our units to the best defensive positions.

In the direction of Donetsk heavy fighting continued near the village of zaytsevo, Verkhnetoretskoye, Kamenka, Novgorodskoe, Avdiivka and the industrial area on the outskirts of Marinka. On the Mariupol direction in the areas of settlements talakivka and Shyrokyne continued fighting using mainly small arms.
