U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch said that us policy on Crimea remains the same – it is part of Ukraine.

She said this during the discussions in Kiev the forum “What to expect from the NATO summit in 2018?”, according to “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“American policy towards Crimea is unchanged: we regard the Crimea as part of Ukraine and no changes are expected in this policy,” – said the diplomat.

Jovanovic also said that the United States provide a significant amount of assistance in various matters particularly in the field of security.
