Ukrainian standards want to equate the European.
The construction standard changes the requirements for facade insulation of buildings and equal to European standards.
This initiative was organized by the Ministry of regional development, construction and housing and communal services.
“For most of the countries of Europe and the world save on energy costs is the rule. In Ukraine is only beginning to implement. Therefore, during the upgrade, the DBC regarding facade insulation, we proposed to align to the European requirements for such events are to introduce the use of modern technologies and materials to improve the reliability of their use. Due to this, the Ukrainians will be able to save up to 15% of the heat. In total approximately 3 billion savings in thermo 3% of all buildings each year. And the more will be reconstructed and built these homes, the more will grow the economy”, — said the Deputy head of minregionstroy Leo Partskhaladze.

The new rules will apply to the design of external walls and facade insulation of residential, public and industrial buildings and structures in new construction, reconstruction and major renovation (thermal modernization) subject to the requirements of Technical regulations of construction products, buildings and structures and the GOS.1.2-11-2008 “Basic requirements for buildings and structures. Energy saving”.
The new standard promise to adopt in the near future.
