NACP decided to Finance the “Samopomich” another 20 million UAH

The party has received additional funding for a gender indicator.
The national Agency for prevention of corruption decided to allocate 19.5 million hryvnia for financing statutory activities of the “Association “Samopomich”.
This is stated in the message on the website of NACP Friday, November 11.
The Agency noted that according to the law on political parties in Ukraine, in the amount of 10% of the annual volume of state financing of statutory activities of political parties is distributed equally among the parties who have become entitled to the financing. Provided, however, if the results of the latest elections the number of elected deputies of the same sex from the party does not exceed two thirds of the total.
“Samopomich” of the 32 deputies elected to the 21st of the same sex that does not exceed two thirds of the total. The other parties represented in Parliament, this index is not maintained.
So, of the 27 elected people’s deputies of the Opposition bloc 24 – of the same sex. In the “popular front” of the 64 deputies – 52 of the same sex, in the “Block of Petro Poroshenko” – 63 vs 50, in “Batkivshchyna” – 17 vs 13, the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko – 22 vs 19.
Recall that in the III and IV quarter of 2016 NACP funded statutory activities of four of the six political partiesrepresented in the Verkhovna Rada. In General, they received 141 million 647 thousand. The party “national front” received 50 million 272 thousand UAH, “Block of Petro Poroshenko” – 49 million 543 thousand UAH, “Samopomich” – 24 million 923 thousand UAH, the Radical party of Oleh Lyashko – 16 million 907 thousand.
Government funding is not received “IN “Batkivshchyna” and “Opposition bloc”. So, “Fatherland” had not submitted the relevant documents for financing, and the party “Opposition bloc” refused government funding.
