The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a law which provides for Ukraine preferential loans for small and medium-sized farms.

The implementation of the law “On ratification of Financial agreement between Ukraine and the European investment Bank (Project “the Main credit for the agricultural sector – Ukraine”) aimed at supporting the agricultural sector of Ukraine and provides the opportunity to raise 400 million euros for 12 years with 4-year grace period, the report said.
Matching funds will be spent on modernization of fisheries and aquaculture in Ukraine and implementation of projects in the field of growing grain and oilseeds, said the AP.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian farmers complain about the high taxes in particular, at the request of the IMF canceled the special regime of VAT refund.
