Ukraine has to pay Yanukovych 6.3 million UAH – EU court

The EU court has taken a similar decision, but the Ukrainian side appealed to the European court of justice.

The European court of justice rejected the appeal of Ukraine on the decision on reimbursement of its legal costs the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his sons.

This was stated in a law firm Joseph Hage Aaronson.

The trial took place on 5 October.

Recall that in March 2015, the EU court has taken a similar decision, but the Ukrainian side appealed to the European court of justice. The EU court obliged Ukraine to compensate the family of Yanukovych 6.3 million UAH of expenses on the case of the abolition of property sanctions.

We will add that now the constitutional court of Ukraine began consideration of the case on the constitutionality of the deprivation Viktor Yanukovych of title of President.

Earlier, the PGO said that the activities of ex-President Viktor Yanukovych for the post was subordinated to the interests of the Russian Federation in matters relating to national security.
