The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that during the strategic discussion on Russia at the European Council meeting will discuss long-term relations with this important neighbour of the EU.

“In view of the decisions which we must make in December, our main goal is the cooperation with Russia, which will confirm our unity,” – said Donald Tusk.
He added that in all disagreements, the EU has always come to the unity. Such a course, he said, they should adhere to in this case.

We will remind that earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and European Council President Donald Tusk held talks in Kiev.
