The monthly turnover of the network has exceeded five million.
In Ternopil and a number of district centers of the region stopped the work of an underground network of Internet casinos that operated under the guise of lottery institutions.
It is reported by the SBU.
Law enforcement authorities simultaneously conducted 13 searches in the places of the alleged conduct of gambling.
Investigators seized more than 90 slot machines, and 150 pieces of computer equipment, accounting documents, electronic data carriers, as well as about 300 thousand hryvnia unrecorded cash obtained by illegal means.
According to preliminary estimates, the monthly turnover of the network has exceeded five million.
Open criminal proceedings, investigative actions proceed.
