New salary deputies begin to 1 November.
43.5 thousand UAH for the speaker, 40 thousand – for Deputy and 36 thousand UAH each MP per month. Such a resolution adopted before the Parliament. It was in the draft budget for 2017, but the document on the new social standards of civil servants, unlike the main estimates, needs no re-voting, no signature of the President, says TSN.12.00.
The TSN journalist Olga Koshelenko managed to find out who owns the initiative with the higher pay of the elected representatives. The decision was made by members of the budget Committee and Deputy head of the Committee Sergey Melnik, therefore, tried to regulate salaries of civil servants in the new public service act.

In fact, the resolution is very large, so some of the deputies says that he didn’t even know that the resolution for which I voted, there were items and their salary.
“We voted for a salary increase for military and police personnel, for raising the salaries of teachers by 30%, we voted for defense spending and national security, that’s what we voted” – says the Deputy Maxim Cronk.
“I personally voted for the state budget, not a separate resolution. If it was that resolved, I think the vote would have a very different result. But that we are not finally adopted the budget. Before the adoption of the budget by 2017 it will be possible to change and make quality edits”,- says Alexey Goncharenko.
But the resolution does not need, nor the re, nor the signature of the President, it has been taken and the new salary deputies begin to 1 November. However, it is not clear cancels the current surcharges, because now deputati receive compensation for hotel stays, travel, on the implementation of parliamentary activities. However, it is known that assistants to deputies will allocate a further 23 thousand hryvnia.
