The European Parliament – on the side of Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the phone and talked to the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz on ratification of Agreement about Association between Ukraine and the European Union.
This is stated on the website of the President.
The head of Ukraine said that needs to be used all possibilities for the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
Martin Schulz stressed that the European Parliament is on the side of Ukraine, and also added that there are majority of visa-free regime for Ukrainians.
The two sides agreed to continue contacts for effective coordination.
Earlier, the Ukrainian President also held a telephone conversation with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

We will remind that earlier the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the decision on the appeal to the countries of the European Union with a request to complete the ratification of the Association Agreement with the EU.
