The EU still has not completed internal procedures for the introduction of a visa-free regime with Ukraine

Tusk and Poroshenko agreed to continue their coordination.
President Petro Poroshenko held a telephone conversation with President of the European Council Donald Tusk.
This is stated in the message of press-service Poroshenko.
Poroshenko and Tusk exchanged views on the ratification of the Association agreement EU – Ukraine. While Tusk expressed full support for Ukraine and stressed that the agreement should continue in effect.
Tusk also stressed that Ukraine has fulfilled all the necessary criteria for visa-free regime. According to him, the EU now needs to complete some internal procedures to grant the right of Ukrainians to enter the EU without visas.

We will remind, the President Petro Poroshenko met with President of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker. The interlocutors reaffirmed the importance of maintaining sanctions against Russia to restore territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Klimkin explained the reasons for the postponement bezveza for Ukraine. According to the Minister, the approval of a visa-free regime with Ukraine will not be considered by the European Parliament in October due to the debate around immigration crisis.
