The SBU exposed the Odessa judge who demanded two thousand dollars of a bribe for a positive decision of the court.
The judge of the local courts of Odessa and the lawyer demanded two thousand dollars for the resolution of election of a measure of restraint in favour of the accused.

SBU recalls that after the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine “On judicial system and status of judges”, in the case of detention of judges during or immediately after committing a grave or especially grave crime, the judge without the consent of the High Council of justice may be detained or retained in custody or arrest before conviction by the court.
