The head of government noted that the Ukrainian gas production began to grow.
Can Ukraine achieve its energy independence by 2020, annually increasing production of domestic gas.
About this on air of the program Shuster Live, said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman.
According to him, over the past few months the production of domestic gas increased by 47 million cubic metres, although this was a steady decrease in production.
“It’s a bit. But we have plus. We started to go into growth,” – said the head of government.

According to forecasts, next year Ukraine will receive an additional 500-700 million cubic meters of gas of own production.
“This means that annually up to 2020, we must increase production of Ukrainian gas, which we have totally enough. When we have enough gas of its own production, we won’t buy gas for hard currency from foreign importers. We will use our Ukrainian gas, which will be enough for us and it will be aimed to strengthen the national currency, and do everything to ensure that the economy was stable,” – said the Prime Minister.

Recall, the French energy Corporation “Angie” is now able to directly supply gas to Ukraine. The agreement was signed by the CEOs of “Angie” and “Ukrtransgaz” in the presence of the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Minister of economy and Finance of France Michel Sapena. The output of such a powerful player on the Ukrainian market is a good signal for other European companies believe in the “Naftogaz”.
