The government has selected 5 candidates for the heads of “Borispol” and called the demands to them

Infrastructure Minister Volodomyr Omeljan announced the completion of the selection of candidates for the position of head of the airport “Borispol”. According to him, operatina the top five contenders, and soon the nominating Committee will announce the winner.

On their own page on the social network Facebook, the Minister stressed that the new head of the airport in the first six months will be required to negotiate with airlines about downloading free terminals. In addition, officials expect to restore order in matters of access to services and facilities of the airport, and lease of premises and Parking.

During the year, the new leader must resolve the issue with an unfinished Parking garage, to ensure the proper pre-airport service on site, as well as the corporatization of the airport. Task for 2 years is to increase to 40% the proportion of revenues from non-aeronautical airport services. “Deliberately make these requirements public. So the winner should take on public duties, have full power and the ability to perform scheduled, but also take full responsibility for the results of their work,” said Omeljan.
