Russia and Ukraine eliminate the overall cargo airline

Ruslan International was established ten years ago.
Six weeks later, on December 31, 2016, fully eliminate cargo airline Ruslan International. Its founders are the Russian group “Volga-Dnepr” and Ukrainian “Antonov Airlines”.

Ruslan International was founded on a parity basis in 2006. The airline is engaged in a large-sized transport aircraft An-124 “Ruslan”. Just Park 17 cars, 10 of which made the Russian company, 7 – Ukrainian.
A 10-year cooperation with “Antonov Airlines” “Volga-Dnepr” is assessed as mutually beneficial, the message of the company. The parties want to continue the cooperation, but only under the continued airworthiness of aircraft An-124-100.
Recall, Ukraine last year imposed sanctions against Russia because of the war in the Donbas and annexation of Crimea. In particular, forbade cooperation in the defense industry (SE “Antonov” is part of “Ukroboronprom”) has banned direct air links with Russia.
