US President Barack Obama during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin offered him to try to make progress on implementation of the Minsk agreements until the end of his term in January 2017.

“I spoke with him (Putin – ed) about Ukraine, about the necessity to fulfill Minsk. I urged him to instruct his negotiating team to work with us, with France, Germany and Ukraine to see if we can achieve this before the deadline of my mandate,” – said Obama
The U.S. remains deeply concerned about the bloodshed and chaos in Syria, Obama said. The responsibility he laid on the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and their support of the Russian HQs. Also, the President of the United States indicated that overall it was “the same conversation as the previous over recent months.”
