At the summit Ukraine-EU on November 24 will not be announced beginning date of the visa-free regime.
This was stated by Deputy head of presidential Administration Konstantin Eliseev in an interview with RBC.

“The summit this will not happen and was not planned. It will summarize the results of cooperation Ukraine-EU since the first summit of the Association in Kiev in 2015. Of course, in this context, the key will be visa liberalization, as all the conditions required to obtain bizwise, the Ukrainian authorities have been fulfilled”, – said Elisha.
He also noted that the summit will discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements, the extension of anti-Russian sanctions, the implementation of the Association Agreement in part of a free trade zone, the prospects for concluding the agreement on joint aviation space and development of strategic partnership in the field of energy security.
“Of course, we want the summit culminated in concrete achievements. Obviously this is what you want and our partners who are sending us an important signal of support for the adoption by the EU Council at the level of ambassadors decision to start inter-institutional negotiations on bizwise. Finally the ice was broken, and after months of pause, the EU decided to take a long – awaited decision,” he added.
Earlier, the Board of permanent representatives of EU countries gave a “green light” to start inter-institutional negotiations on visa-free regime with Ukraine. In fact that’s the home stretch before deciding to bizwise.
