Independence monument in Kiev, highlighted in orange in solidarity with the international movement for the elimination of violence against women. Today is the day against gender violence, says the story TSN.19:30.
Near the “Berehynia” the ceremony was attended by MPs, UN officials and concerned people with fifty umbrellas. Independence monument will glow yellow-hot light until 23:00 hours.
Previously Sophia was repainted in purple color. Light show was part of a worldwide flashmob in honor of the international day of prematurely born children.
