Ukraine signed the gas supply contracts with three European companies

Groysman is confident that it will allow to form in Ukraine a full-fledged energy market.
The company has contracts for the transportation and storage of natural gas in Ukrainian storage facilities with three European suppliers.
About it reports a press-service of the company.
Among these companies – the French ENGIE, the Swiss-based DufEnergy Trading SA (Switzerland) and TrailStone Energy LLC (representative office in Ukraine). Before concluding a Treaty, they sold the gas to Ukrainian traders on the frontier.
The President of “Ukrtransgaz” Igor Prokopiv noted that the test gas deliveries are expected in December.
Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman on his page in Facebook said that by attracting foreign suppliers of gas to Ukraine will allow to create an efficient energy market.

“The market is competition, including competitive prices for consumers. The formation of the full energetichnogo market, the growth of domestic gas production, implementation of energy efficiency, increasing the revenue from state companies to the budget – all consequences of those decisions on the improvement of the energy sector, which we accept. Solutions that ultimately make Ukraine a stronger and more independent, and the state would gradually raise the level of social standards”, – he wrote, Groisman.

The agreement was signed by the CEOs of “Angie” and “Ukrtransgaz” in the presence of the Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Minister of economy and Finance of France Michel Sapena. In “Naftogaz” assures that the output of such a powerful player in our market is a good signal for other European companies.
