In Texas saved a rare loggerhead turtle who got stuck in the pipe of the reservoir

The animal is a protected species of freshwater turtles in Texas.

In Texas, the Houston defenders saved 24-pound loggerhead turtle that was stuck in the pipe of the reservoir.

The animal was accidentally discovered by passers-by and immediately called the rescue service, reports ABC news.

“Dent in the pipe allowed her to climb”, – said human rights activists.

“She struggles to keep their head up when the water flowed in the pipe”, they added.

Thanks to emergency rescue tool known as the “jaws of life” opened up the pipe and veterinarians freed the animal.

Surviving the turtle was taken to the wildlife center of Texas where she was examined by specialists.

Organization for the protection of animals noted that the loggerhead turtle “and is a protected species of freshwater turtles in Texas.”
