In the second half of 2017 will begin the newly created operator GTS.
The gas transportation system of Ukraine, which is now the main route for transporting Russian gas to Europe, worth about 30 billion U.S. dollars.

He also said that the process of restructuring the NJSC company PJSC “Main gas pipelines of Ukraine” (the new operator GTS) should earn in the third quarter of 2017, after entry into force of the decision of the Stockholm arbitration case with Gazprom.
KOBOLEV said that in case of a loss in arbitration of “Gazprom” under the contract of purchase and sale of gas the amount of 38 billion, which requires a Russian company, will be unaffordable for “Naftogaz”.
KOBOLEV previously stated that “the Russian” gas pipelines to Europe to bypass Ukraine will reduce the cost of the Ukrainian gas transportation system five times. That is, the cost may fall to $ 6 billion.
