The average salary of teachers in 2017 will increase by 50%.
Today, 14 December, the government approved the concept of reform of the secondary school “New Ukrainian school.”
About this on his page in Twitter wrote Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kirilenko.
“Only the government approved the concept of reform of secondary schools “New Ukrainian school”: education funding is 7% of GDP, an increase in SN teachers, 12-year-old, etc.”, – is spoken in the message.
In turn, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the government decision on change of situation in the sphere of education will allow to create conditions for an adequate quality of education in the country.

“If you can with higher education to the next, kindergarten and school the child attends only once in my life. We have no moral right to restrict children access to school, kindergarten, and most importantly – in the quality of education. We must create the conditions on the appropriate quality of education,” – said Groisman, announcing government approval of the concept of “New Ukrainian schools”.
According to him, decisions taken by the government will change the situation in the education sector for the better, and also to outline the development of the sector in the medium and long term.
The Prime Minister noted that the main task today is to give substance and providing secondary education.
According to him, the main indicator of education is the quality of knowledge.

“The quality of knowledge, preparation of necessary specialties, employment – it all starts with kindergarten. Should the baggage [of knowledge] is established in such a way that the children were competitive,” – said Groisman.
Among today’s government decisions – the decision to increase the wages of the teachers at the two level of the tariff, said the Prime Minister. According to him, with this solution, and raising the minimum wage twice the average salary of teachers in 2017 will increase by 50%.
Speaking about the issue of recommendations to the formation of regional order for training in vocational educational institutions, Volodymyr Groysman noted that the authorities of different levels in collaboration to prepare high-quality professionals for the real sector of the economy.
It is noted that this year the government has allocated 50 million UAH for curriculum change with the three most scarce vocational and technical specialties. Next year that funding will be increased.
“I’d really like to vocational education was also of good quality. We spend billions there, I would want all those billions we have invested in specific Ukrainian student, student who is very well trained, will work in the real sector, to provide quality national product and to influence the development of the national economy”, – said the Prime Minister.
