The meeting will discuss “security in Europe, in particular – Ukraine”.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced a meeting of the Council Russia-NATO discussion of the situation around Ukraine. The meeting will be held on Monday, December 19, in Brussels, writes “Interfax-Ukraine”.

“I invited members of the Council Russia-NATO at a meeting on Monday…We will meet at the level of permanent representatives at the headquarters of NATO,” said Stoltenberg.

The NATO Secretary General said that the meeting will discuss “security in Europe, in particular – Ukraine”.

Recall that the military confrontation between Russia and the member-state of NATO or a severe crisis in North Korea appeared in the list of largest threats to 2017.

This is stated in the study “the Main threat for which you need to follow in 2017” conducted by the American Council on foreign relations (CFR).

Experts have compiled a list of possible conflicts according to the degree of probability of their occurrence or escalation, and their impact on U.S. national interests.
