Countries “Big seven” supported the nationalization of PrivatBank

The ambassadors of the countries “Big seven” I think the nationalization of “PrivatBank” important and necessary step in the cleaning process of the banking sector and stabilize the economy.
This is stated in the corresponding statement published on the website of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
Representatives of the countries “the Big seven” welcomed and endorsed the work of the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance the President for “their leadership and ongoing efforts to cleanse the banking sector and stabilize the economy”.
“The government’s decision to nationalize “PrivatBank” is an important and necessary step in this process which will help to ensure compliance with uniform regulations of economic norms all the banks of Ukraine. This will make the banking sector stronger and more sustainable,” – said in a statement.

The ambassadors also noted that the nationalization is also a mechanism that guarantees the protection of deposits and the provision of unhindered access clients “PrivatBank” banking services. “Cleansing the banking sector of Ukraine is an important part of broader efforts to reform. We further hope to support Ukraine and to work together to ensure macroeconomic stability, improve the investment climate and assistance to the people of Ukraine in its development towards economic prosperity”, – the press service of the Embassy of Japan.
Recall that the European Union has also supported the decision on the nationalization of PrivatBank. In the words of foreign Minister Federica Mogherini, the solution must lead to the fact that all banks in Ukraine will work in the same conditions.
