Danyluk says that a decision on PrivatBank adopted unanimously

The Minister of Finance reminded about liability for causing insolvency of the Bank.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman has not opposed the adoption of the decision on the nationalization of PrivatBank.

About this on air of the Channel 24, said Finance Minister Oleksandr danylyuk.

“This is untrue”, – said the Minister, commenting on media reports about the alleged reluctance of Groisman to make a decision.

According to him, the decision was taken unanimously.

“Legislation of Ukraine provides a major otvetvennost bringing the Bank to insolvency. The owners understood this. Before them was a difficult task, depending on the situation in the Bank. They are unable to do, and for them it is an important decision. For them it was very important to find a solution that wouldn’t hurt the Bank, given this responsibility,” he said.

Recall, according to the government decree, the Ministry of Finance is mandated to issue bonds in the amount of up to 116.8 billion for recapitalization of nationalized PrivatBank. With maturity of up to 15 years and interest rate should be set at a level no higher than 10.5% per annum with a subsequent payment on behalf of the state in payment for shares of additional issue.
