Pensions to veterans of the police count. This convinced the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, said in the story TSN.19:30.
Congratulating militiamen in resignation on the Day of veterans of internal Affairs, the Minister promised to speed up the process of indexation of pensions to the former employees of internal Affairs bodies. The Ministry of social policy and the pension Fund has already sent an appeal, which was to decide the procedure of recalculation of pensions. “We have taken a number of measures that we quickly pass this way again, so that veterans could receive an adequate pension. Thousands of people sacrificed their health and years of service to faithfully serve Ukraine”, – said Avakov.
As previously reported, in December, retired police blocked the highway Kyiv-Chop in Rivne region with the requirement to increase their pensions. Patrol tried to pull the car to the detour, but the former militiamen had blocked traffic and there.
