The President of Ukraine hopes that the ceasefire in the Donbas will be ongoing.

“I hope that thanks to these measures that will be implemented in the eve of new year and Christmas holidays, the ceasefire in the Donbass will begin to be permanent.

“Ukraine confirms its readiness to perform as this and other Minsk agreements”, – he said.

As reported, on December 18 militants unleashed a fierce battle with the military forces of the antiterrorist operation in the area Svetlodarskoye arc, in the Donetsk region.
