President Poroshenko signed the law.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a lawthat allows Ukrainian soldiers to receive a pension from 50 to 55 years.
Thus, the Law of Ukraine “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine on pension provision of certain categories of persons from among participants of the antiterrorist operation” gives the right to the appointment of old-age pensions after reaching the men 55 years, women 50-55 years. This was reported on the website of the President.

The age pension will be provided to servicemen, persons of commanding and ordinary structure of organs of internal Affairs, who was directly involved in the ATO in the presence of the insurance experience not less of 25 years for men and 20 years for women.
The same right will receive:
- the combatants who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as part of volunteer units that were included in the armed forces of Ukraine, Ministry of internal Affairs, National guard, and other educated in accordance with the laws of Ukraine of military formations and law enforcement agencies
- the military (reservists, military service), persons of ordinary, officers and volunteers who have become disabled due to injury, contusion or injury received during participation in the ATO.
“The wives (husbands), if they did not accept remarriage and the parents of the above-mentioned categories of citizens who died or went missing, died as a result of injury, contusion or injury received during participation in the ATO, ensuring its implementation are also entitled to pensions on age,” the report said.
We add that the President signed the document amends the Law of Ukraine “On compulsory state pension insurance”.
The law shall enter into force one month from the date of its publication.
