During the voting some representatives of the Democratic party tried to challenge the decision of the electoral College of the United States.
The U.S. Congress at a joint session of both chambers officially confirmed the victory of Donald trump on the us presidential elections.

The Republicans gave a standing ovation, and during the vote, the representatives of the Democratic party tried to challenge the decision of the electoral College, emphasizing that Russia’s intervention influenced the outcome of the election.
The last formal procedure that approves of Donald trump as President of the United States, remains the inauguration ceremony, which is scheduled for January 20. While a vote was also approved by Mike Pence on the post of the Vice-President of the United States.
