Candidate for the post of head of the CIA , Republican Mike Pompeo has accused Russia of invading Ukraine and the threat to Europe.

Mike Pompeo, who is a candidate trump to head the CIA, said that Moscow is a threat in Europe and “aggressively asserting itself” in Ukraine.
In his opinion, Russia staged cyber attack with purpose to affect the U.S. presidential election, and called these influence attempts “aggressive actions.”

Recall that Russia is a formidable opponent for the United States in a number of areas, said current CIA Director John Brennan.
