The Groysman announced the reduction in the number of unemployed in Ukraine by 16%

In January 2017, the year in Ukraine has employed 45 thousand people, and, therefore, the official number of unemployed was reduced by 16 percent. This was said at a meeting with Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said in the story TSN.19.30.

In January, the number of people warned about reduction, one-quarter less than in the same period last year. Fiscal service reports in the first month of the year in the country there were 28 thousand new entrepreneurs.

Thus, the head of the government, raising the minimum wage leads to the legalization of the economy and reduce unemployment.

The average salary offered for vacancies of the State employment service, – 3900 UAH, which is almost twice more than last year.

“I think February and March clearly show that we have an increase in entrepreneurs, the increase in the minimum wage, the increase in average wages and prices will remain within seasonal fluctuations without any other additional inflationary processes,” – said Groisman.

Earlier, the NBU said that the increase by half from 1 January 2017 the level of the minimum wage to 3, 2 thousand UAH will have a negative impact on inflation, because prices rise, but positively on the economy, which further added 0.5%.

By the end of 2016 , Ukraine’s GDP grew by 1.8%. In the state budget for 2017 laid down the economic growth at 3%. International financial organizations are more pessimistic in their forecasts for Ukraine’s economy and give a 2-2,5%. In particular, the 2.5 percent the IMF predicts.
