SBU evasively commented on the elimination of militants “Givi”
SBU checks information regarding the destruction of the commander of the militia battalion “Somalia” Mikhail Tolstoy, nicknamed “Givi”.
This was stated by Advisor to the head of the SBU Yuriy tandit, according to “112.Ukraine”.
“We see on public channels information that indicates that terrorist act killed a citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Sergeyevich Tolstykh. I do not confirm this information, we should check it out. We have no control over the temporarily occupied regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, – he stressed.
According to Tandit, if death is “Givi” is confirmed, it will mean that “people who were linked to illegal groups (in the Donbass – approx.ed.) frenched certain services there, beyond the line of contact, but this is just a guess”.
He also noted that currently expect any statements from self-proclaimed republics, and suggested that probably the destruction of the “Givi” is the result of a showdown between militants.
At the same time, the Tandem refused to comment on whether to destroy the terrorist SBU.
