Moldova thanked Ukraine for its support in the Transnistrian conflict

Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip during a joint meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thanked him for his support in the Transnistrian conflict. This is stated in the press service of the head of government.

“We hope for inclusive support Ukraine to find solutions to the Transnistrian conflict,” he said.

According to Philip, the negotiation process on the Transnistrian conflict settlement to be held in the 5+2 format. He also noted that the procedure must occur in strict compliance with the principles of preserving the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.

“In this context, I would like to Express my gratitude to the Ukrainian side that it is providing to Moldova in the process,” said Philip.

Also the head of the Moldovan government announced a clear position of Moldova in the Crimea: “the Republic of Moldova recognizes and adheres to the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine”.
