“Borispol” is going to decrease fees with discounts want to attract 10 million passengers

According to General Director of the airport Yevhen Dykhne, the airport seeks to expand its route network, therefore, introduces incentive program for airlines, which subsequently should lead to a significant increase in passenger traffic, including transit.

“In the next two years “Borispol” wants to look like airport Warsaw, and we want to develop the Western direction to the same extent as Warsaw. If we have the same increase in 2017, and in 2016, we will reach the milestone of 10 million passengers per year,” said Eliashberg.

The document will be sent to the Ministry of infrastructure to review, after which must be signed and will come into force.

The airport proposes to introduce discounts for the implementation of new international flights by the airlines. The new flight is in the case if during the year on this route was not satisfied with the flights. The discount will be provided if the new flight will be operated with a frequency of at least once a week. In addition, the new route will be considered, if you are from Borispol to airport in less than 100 km from which there is no other airport where a flight from Borispol.

Zvonarev noted that these discounts for those carriers who, for whatever reason, can’t open new routes and increase the number of passengers on existing.
