The NBU over the past year have given credit to the “daughter” of the Russian Bank for 1.4 billion UAH
For 2016, the national Bank of Ukraine issued a commercial “Prominvestbank“, which is “daughter” of the Russian state “Vnesheconombank”, the loan refinancing of 1 billion 27 million 409 thousand UAH.
This follows from the NBU, published on the official website.
As of January 1, 2016 debt “Prominvestbank” in front of the NBU amounted to UAH million 199,86. And on 1 October, the debt rose to 1 billion 609 million 130 thousand UAH. At the end of the year, the Bank returned part of the debt in the amount of about 700 million UAH and as of 1 January 2017, he was 912,19 million.
We will remind, recently it became known about meeting the head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva and the head of the Russian “Vnesheconombank”, graduate of the Academy of the FSB of Russia Sergey Gor. What exactly they were talking, the NBU refuse to tell. Said only that the questions dealt with the capitalization of “Prominvestbank”.
A scramble really is that, experts say, because the Bank’s capital, which is de facto owned by the Kremlin, is already happening at the expense of the Ukrainian budget for money to local taxpayers. This is stated in the story TSN. And this despite the fact that dozens of Ukrainian banks, this infusion of hundreds of millions do not get.
During the last weeks edition of the TSN sends daily requests to the leadership of the NBU with the request to explain the dominance of former employees of Russian state-owned banks in the NBU. But none of the queries was not answered.
